న్యూఢిల్లీ: చైనాలోని షాంఘై వేదికగా జరగనున్న ప్రతిష్టాత్మక 48వ WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 అంతర్జాతీయ నైపుణ్య పోటీలకు భారత్ భారీ ప్రాతినిధ్యంతో సిద్ధమవుతోంది. మొత్తం 64 అధికారిక నైపుణ్య విభాగాల్లో ఏకంగా 63 విభాగాల్లో భారత ప్రతిభావంతులు పోటీ పడనున్నారు. గత ఎడిషన్‌తో పోలిస్తే భారత ప్రాతినిధ్యం గణనీయంగా పెరగడం విశేషం.
63 విభాగాల్లో భారత్ పోటీ
2024లో ఫ్రాన్స్‌లోని లియోన్‌లో జరిగిన WorldSkills 2024 పోటీల్లో భారత్ 52 విభాగాల్లో పాల్గొంది. ఈసారి కేవలం రెండేళ్ల వ్యవధిలోనే పోటీపడుతున్న విభాగాల సంఖ్య 63కి చేరింది. దేశంలో నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి, వృత్తి విద్య, పరిశ్రమల ఆధారిత శిక్షణకు పెరుగుతున్న ప్రాధాన్యతకు ఇది నిదర్శనంగా నిలుస్తోంది.
లియోన్ 2024లో భారత్ తరఫున 60 మంది పోటీదారులు, 52 మంది నిపుణులు పాల్గొన్నారు. భారత బృందం నాలుగు కాంస్య పతకాలు, 12 Medallions for Excellence సాధించి ఓవరాల్‌గా 13వ స్థానంలో నిలిచింది.
ఈసారి భారీ భారత బృందం
WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 కోసం భారత్ నుంచి 70 మంది పోటీదారులు, 63 మంది నిపుణులతో కూడిన భారీ బృందం సిద్ధమైంది. పారిశ్రామిక, విద్యా రంగాలకు చెందిన 150కి పైగా భాగస్వామ్య సంస్థలు భారత బృందానికి సాంకేతిక సహకారం అందిస్తున్నాయి.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రతిభావంతులను గుర్తించేందుకు Kaushal Mahotsav, IndiaSkills, National Champions వంటి దశల ద్వారా ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ చేపట్టారు. అనంతరం Champion Club ద్వారా గత విజేతలు, నిపుణుల మార్గదర్శకత్వంలో పోటీదారులకు ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ అందించారు.
సంప్రదాయ నైపుణ్యాల నుంచి AI వరకు
షాంఘై పోటీల్లో భారత్ సంప్రదాయ వృత్తి నైపుణ్యాలతో పాటు ఆధునిక సాంకేతిక రంగాల్లోనూ తన సత్తా చాటనుంది. ఇటుకలు వేయడం, వడ్రంగి పని, ప్లాస్టరింగ్, పెయింటింగ్ వంటి నైపుణ్యాలతో పాటు Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Mobile App Development, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Development వంటి అధునాతన విభాగాల్లోనూ భారత యువత పోటీ పడనుంది.
